Dr. Srikanth Mahankali, MD, (Founder & CEO; Shree Advisory & Consulting, LLC), s a distinguished physician-scientist and healthcare leader working at the intersection of medical innovation, artificial intelligence, and neurotechnology. An “Einstein Visa” recipient for extraordinary abilities in the sciences, he brings unique insights to the emerging field of brain-computer interfaces and their integration into healthcare systems. As a member of the Public Messaging and BCI Education Workgroup within the FDA-participating Implantable Brain-Computer Interface Collaborative Community (iBCI-CC), Dr. Mahankali plays a key role in developing frameworks for communicating the benefits, risks, and ethical considerations of neurotechnology to diverse stakeholders. This work is particularly relevant given the iBCI-CC’s groundbreaking status as the first clinical neurosciences collaborative community with FDA participation, announced in May 2024.
